The inner metallized layer reflects up to 70% of the solar radiation that causes heat build up. This will also maintain heat in winter. The 2 mil inner layer is surrounded by 2-1 mil outer layers that are deep dyed and treated for UV stability. The outer layers reduce reflections and improve appearance. Additionally, the polyester by its nature blocks 99.9% of harmful UV light protecting skin and valuable furnishings from harm.
Three layers, the inner layer rejects heat. The outer layers reduce reflection and improve appearance. The lamination and embossing of the layers reduces glare. The material by nature rejects UV light. The physical properties of Saveu's construction will reduce 90% of the glare associated with sunlight entering through your windows, block 99.9 percent Of the harmful UV rays, and reject up to 80%of the radiant heat build up generated from the sun.

Once the Saveu Shade material is constructed, it will need to be assembled as a shade. This is done one of two ways. With a cassette or without a cassette. All hardware used in the manufacture of the shade is of the finest quality supplied by the Roll. After being cut to size the shade material is rolled onto an aluminum tube and an extruded powder coated aluminum bottom bar is attached. A clutch is inserted as well as male end. If ordered this assembly is then put into a cassette. The cassette comes with valence material that matches the shade. The cassette can also be used plain or you can substitute another valence material.
